Switching from Terrasoft

Our client is an appraisal and consulting company specializing in real estate transactions.

In past, the company used the Terrasoft platform, but the management was not satisfied with the pricing policy, limited functionality and the lack of deep customization, and it was decided to switch to the open source vTiger CRM and to improve the paperwork by doing so. 

The vTiger CRM is very attractive in both aspects: the implementation process and further use; and this influenced the decision of the company's management to switch to a vTiger CRM. After updating the vTiger CRM 7 company received a rich and unlimited functionality with the possibility to work with any amount of data and any number of users, without any restrictions.

Now there is no need to involve developers and pay them for connecting the website to the crm, automating workflows, generating reports and PDF templates, amending fields in cards, etc. Owing to the advanced features of fine-tuning, employees themselves can delete / add / edit modules, lists, fields, filters, directories, menus, and much more in the designers built in the vTiger CRM.

By customer`s request we have integrated vTiger CRM with the Alfresco document management solution and fully transferred all historical data to the new vTiger CRM.

With vTiger CRM implementation customer received the following benefits:

• the possibility of  independent and deep tuning of the crm solution;

• access to the source code for 100% adaptation to their business processes;

• work in the vTiger CRM via the Internet from anywhere in the world;

• good document flow;

• saving the history of all changes made;

• convenient search in file contents;

• support for document versioning;

• possibility of expanding the functionality of the system by means of new modules.

The company actively uses a project management module with an embedded Gantt Chart. This is a tool that visually shows the duration of project tasks and control points in the form of a horizontal bar chart. The module allowed to manage projects more effectively and to monitor the implementation of tasks.

Finally all the necessary functionality and data were transferred from Terrasoft to the vTiger CRM 7. The missing functionality, modules and integrations were developed and added. The customer benefited both functionally and financially, fully satisfied his needs by switching to a new open source crm solution.
